Senate returns more pessimistic than ever on healthcare

Senators went into a recess skeptical over whether they could agree to legislation repealing and replacing ObamaCare.

They will return on Monday more doubtful than ever.

Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), one of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) most loyal allies, said Thursday that it’s “unlikely” the GOP will get a healthcare deal.

“I don’t see a comprehensive healthcare plan this year,” he told a local news station.

Senate Republicans hoped to have a draft bill this week, but it now looks like there will at best be an outline.

The Pubs in the Senate just don't get it. They will pay a steep price in the 2018 elections if they don't get this done. This is an epic leadership failure. How can the Pubs have control of the Senate and still fail to get a bill through?

So many politicians trying to obstruct President Trump's policy initiatives; the political establishment will never get it. We the people must speak loudly and clearly to them, especially on election day.

The “Deep State” would rather have Republican losses than Trump successes. He threatens so much free money. Look at the billion he just denied the climate hustlers.

You’re right—we’re the ones who will ultimately pay the price.

Morning Chuck.

Good to see you again Mitch. Working hard or hardly working?

Dumb question Chuck.

Hey, when’s our next vacation?

Couple weeks.

Comprehensive healthcare plan:

THE FREE MARKET ECONOMY

The Constitution gives the feds NO authority to meddle in healthcare from which they need to be completely.

Healthcare, and many other areas of life in our country, needs a federal-ectemy.

I’ve only voted for one democrat in my entire life: Dixie Lee Ray, when I turned 18 (1972).

If Obamacare is not repealed by the next election cycle, I will not only not vote for a single republican in any congressional race. I’ll vote straight D.

If only to speed up the collapse so the phoenix can rise from the ashes sooner.

Let ObamaCare fail. It fails because no Dem will vote for the required overhaul. Unfortunately, the Republicans are too stupid to word it that way.

Same old song:

We have the House, we need the Senate

We have the House and the Senate, we need the presidency

We have the House, the Senate and the presidency, now we need a majority in Congress

Most Republicans love big government and sticking it to the populace just as much as democrats. They will always find an excuse to do the wrong thing. They will let out a big sigh and submit to single payer. VA standard care for everyone (except public employees and Congress)!

Following the ratification of that seventeenth progressive POS amendment to the Constitution the Senate has been turned into Glorified Representatives from the Founders vision of Protectors of States Rights. Thus from their high and exalted position in Government they are free to play whatever games it takes to preserve their kingly fiefdom.
