Several drugs are scoring big wins against common cancers, setting new standards for how to treat many prostate, breast and lung tumors. There's even a "uni-drug" that may fight many forms of the disease. What's especially striking: The drugs are beneficial in some cases for more than a year, much longer than the few months many new drugs provide.   Here are some highlights from the world's largest cancer meeting, the American Society of Clinical Oncology conference in Chicago:

The advances are good but important to realize these drugs delay the disease for months, far from a cure of any advanced cancer.

I’m kinda skeptical on this article...

Seeing three cancers mentioned, each with a very expensive drug, and the source being cBS.

I don’t doubt that there are promising drugs on the horizon... but there always are. And, at early non-mass-produced stages, probably most are very expensive. But, something tells me this is a hit piece part of an enemedia campaign. Perhaps anti-Trump in one way or another...

There are natural treatments that are just as effective. I trust them more because they are God-given. That would be my choice if I ever have to choose.

Isn’t the success rate of cancer drugs very low like only 3% success??

I have never heard of anyone who had pancreatic cancer who was cured by "natural treatments." I do know people who were healed by miracles, but in general God works through doctors and nurses, by medical researchers whose brains He created, and through the technology that harnesses His science to help people. What makes people think that He is not the one who guides lifesaving research? Modern medicine is just as God-given as some herb.

And honestly, you don't know what choice you would make in cancer treatment until you're looking death in the eye.
