A judge sentenced three Muslim refugee boys in the sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl in Idaho, but nobody knows the length or terms of the sentence because the judge has barred everyone in the courtroom, including the victim’s own parents, from speaking about the case. Mathew Staver, chairman and co-founder of the nonprofit legal assistance agency Liberty Counsel, told WND that Judge Borresen was completely out of line in issuing a gag order after the fact in a criminal case.
“It’s unconstitutional for the judge to do that. There are gag orders that can be put on people during a jury trial, or if it’s a minor they can prohibit you from mentioning the name of the minor, but they can’t gag you after the fact,” Staver said. “This is public at this point. This judge, it just seems like he’s forgotten about the First Amendment in this case. He has no authority to do this, he can’t hold someone in contempt to keep them from speaking out about their displeasure with the case after the fact.”
Staver said case law is clear on the subject of gag orders.

There is no penalty against a judge for getting the law wrong.
If all parties are minors then I can see why it would be blocked. I have no idea what “boys” means in the context of this story but kids do sometimes act inappropriately without really understanding what they are doing.
American kids, even Christian kids, sometimes engage in, “you show me yours and I’ll show you mine” and it’s not necessarily criminal behavior.
This case deserves Presidential Attention.

Just send the rapists over to the Judges house or the homes of his children and/or grandchildren. Did anyone ever notice that virtually all gated communities have no gates, security or fences coming from the forests or fields that border them?
Perhaps the parents of the victim can secretly leak the names of the perps and where they live. local justice can be used to rectify the judge’s error. By the way, wooden closet rods aren’t terribly expensive at the local home improvement stores. perhaps these migrant molesters can get a feel for one, close up.
