House GOP leaders are warning their rank-and-file members of the potential for heavy midterm losses next year that could cost Republicans their majority.

The warning Tuesday was aimed at encouraging lawmakers to stay focused and not be “chasing all the different other shiny objects” — according to Republican Rep. Mark Walker of North Carolina.

It comes a week ahead of a special election in Georgia, where Democrats are spending heavily to contest what should be a safe Republican seat. …

Will there be loses in the mid-term? Almost certainly, if history is any predictor. Add to that the ‘leadership’ that McConnell and Paul Ryan are providing and losses are to be expected, some seats in the House but maybe pick up of one or two in the Senate. But will the GOP loose their majority? Not likely.

They will lose because they are LOSERS. They are weak and unprincipled. And they are deceivers and hypocrites.

One thing that should be crystal clear by now is that Republicans don’t represent conservatives in any way, shape or form. Sure, they unleash a torrent of conservative sounding rhetoric before every election but its all vote-getting palaver to fool the base again and again.

The GOP has done absolutely nothing since the election except sit on their hands and recess at every opportunity. A more useless bunch of phonies would be hard to find. We really do need a third party.

Their reelection is all that matters. Keep the seat at any cost. Say anything to con the people into voting for you. And never miss an opportunity for a photo op to show the people back home how important you are.

Once they join “the club” they never want to leave. Going back home to a life of anonymity and living amongst the folks who put them there is an abhorrent thought that terrifies them. Once a DC elite, always a DC elite. Being a professional liar pays well.

Anyone who thinks they’re there to represent conservatives is delusional.
