Walker Battles Climate Change Believers to Reshape Department of Natural Resources

Wisconsin Democrats have demanded Gov. Scott Walker (R) join the U.S. Climate Alliance, a newly formed coalition of states that intends to move forward with the terms of the Paris climate accord after President Trump’s decision to pull out of the agreement.

"President Trump’s rejection of fact, science and of the Paris Climate Agreement is an act that endangers every American. Gov. Walker’s silence on this issue echoes this shared anti-environment, anti-middle class agenda,” read the letter to Walker signed by 35 state representatives and 11 senators.

"Given the recent reports on Wisconsin’s dismal slump in job creation, we cannot afford to reject both the economic opportunity that green jobs would bring to Wisconsin and the moral obligation of taking a stand to address climate change,” the Democrats concluded. Will Walker bend and join the Climate Alliance?

Not likely, since the Republican has proposed transferring 15 scientists, who had been studying climate change and global warming, to new jobs within the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Two years ago, 18 DNR science bureau researchers lost their jobs as the result of a Walker administration budget cut.

They are complaining about slow job creation? Wisconsin has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the US, thanks to Walker's pro-business stance. Don't talk to us about "global warming". It's June 26 and the temp in my back yard is in the low 60s and not expected to go any higher in the next week.

Where did all the Republicans’ “caving in” in the past get us anyway? It is time for some “real conservative and principled men and women” to first of all PRAY for wisdom and direction before they do anything and then stand by their convictions. The left wing loonies have been given way too much print time, face time and airtime.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

“Trump’s rejection of fact, science and of the Paris Climate Agreement is an act that endangers every American.”

No bias or hyperbole there.

It always makes me smile when the greenies can’t comprehend that simple explanation you gave on the proportions and mass involved in the overall energy equation. I find it to be the ultimate in hubris that they pretend that the actions of the puny humans really matter in the equation. Sure, we shouldn’t be dumb about our stewardship of the Earth yet we can’t be losing sight of where we fit in the larger scheme of things.

+1 Exactly.

Luv My Gov! :)

Wisconsin’s Unemployment Rate as of May, 2017 was 3.1%!

THREE-POINT-ONE PERCENT! Employers are SCREAMING for employees - but the good ones have their PICK of the crop in our state. Move here! It’s awesome! :)

Check out your state stats, here:

Given the recent reports on Wisconsin’s dismal slump in job creation

The reason job creation is so slow is that everyone seems to be fully employed elsewhere and don't have time to take a new, different, job.

If Governor Walker issued ever Socialist in this state a check for a million dollars and gave them a kitten and an ice cream cone, too - they’d STILL find something to whine about, LOL!

And, you’re welcome, AFTR!
