New research from The Georgetown Law Center on Poverty and Inequality says black girls as young as five are seen as "less innocent" than young white girls and need less protection. Black Americans in Washington, DC, gave their reaction.

These are the people who stage hoax church burnings, throw ropes up into trees and say “Oh my! I saw a knotted noose!”
Apparently we're not allowed to take this into consideration, much like the studies that lament how black boys are suspended more often in school and face NJP more often in the military.
I suppose no one is going to mention that crime statistics overwhelmingly back this “prejudice”.
There are two dominant influences in the Black community:
1. The Church
2. Entertainment of the mainstream media.
Only those in those Churches see the Church people.
Everyone sees the rappers, the degrading stuff on TV, in the movies.
So guess how people form their opinions?

It has been shown that a married couple employed full time at a minimum wage job are highly unlikely to be considered living at the poverty level. It presumes that their wages aren't "going up in smoke".
The biggest lie sold to the ghetto people is that the deck is stacked against them on purpose. They stack the deck against themselves.
If a ghetto dweller decided to groom neatly, stand up straight, be polite, and speak normal English, they could write their own ticket, no matter where he starts in the job ladder.
Employers love a presentable person who shows up for work everyday, on-time. Employers value reliability in a worker more than anything else: "Well Leroy might not be the brightest, but I know he will be here for me, rain or shine!".
A quiz kid wonderboy who is unreliable is worth nothing.

If only the blacks as a people could understand what the left’s tyranny of low expectations has done to their culture, they would revolt. Alas, the left has been getting away with this for more than 60 years and will never stop as long as they get their fealty through votes.
