The simple, undeniable facts are that as a Catholic I acknowledge that the Scripture is correct about the evils of sodomy and many other things based on the interpretations of Scripture that have been handed down straight from Christ and the Apostles while non-Catholics each decide for themselves how to interpret Scripture and even what Scripture to toss into the garbage can.
So, pretend whatever you like. I rest in the authority of Christ secure in the knowledge of Bible, the entire Bible, and how it should be interpreted as passed down directly from Christ and the Apostles. Non-Catholics (based on their own self will power vending machine ideas) ultimately rest in the Self and Self Alone shaping Christ into whatever they want Him to be.
