I think a decade ago, I would have said it was impossible to bypass the mainstream media. But when you look at what the internet has given the public....the tools are all there.
Within five years, I anticipate some Senator-candidate (a no-name guy) coming up and running an entire campaign to win a Senate seat, without using a single TV or radio ad, and winning the seat based on the same idea of bypassing the mass media.
