Saturday, President Trump picked up the hat of a Marine that was blown off due to the turbulence from the President’s helicopter.
As the President approached Marine One at Andrews Air Force Base just outside D.C. after returning home from Hamburg, he bent over and picked up a Marine’s white hat that blew off his head and onto the ground amid turbulence from the helicopter. Trump placed the hat on the Marine’s head and patted him on the arm, but immediately after doing so, the wind carried the hat off again.
The President chased down the hat for the Marine and returned it to him once again. Total class act.

Trumps fault. While the wind that blew the cap away came from the helicopter, that kind of wind is an example of how Global Warming can affect the weather. Won’t be long before we have to use Gorilla Glue to keep our hats on.

When you’re a president, every single thing you do or decide not to do becomes a point of scrutiny, appraisal and speculation.
It takes someone like Pres. Trump to fill that role in today’s world. He has been famous, infamous, well known, notorious for at least the last 40 years as an individual.

Some of the most unpretentious, humble individuals I’ve ever met have had absolutely nothing left to prove in life, meaning they were highly accomplished and well-off. It’s the strivers and the insecure who feel the need to put others down, thinking that such behavior somehow elevated them. It doesn’t.
This is a true Reaganesque moment.
For real Americans this simple act will be the most significant presidential moment defining the entire G-20 trip.
A million politicians preen and strut and pose for group portraits at these international Dog and Pony shows.
But only one US President will be remembered for this kindly human gesture.
