Those covers don’t fit securely in the best of conditions, and it was extremely windy.
I think the young Marine will be fine.
True, the other Marine did not lose his cover having pulled further down at the back. Not the best look, but effective.

Glue made from Gorillas is an environmental nightmare as Gorilla’s are an endangered species. Scientists need to find a synthetic substitute before all of the Gorillas are used up, either that or we need raise a plentiful supply of Gorillas on Gorilla farms.

Bill and Hillary walk towards Marine One. Wind blows Marine's cover off. Bill chuckles and Hillary cackles. As they ascend the steps, Axelrod rushes up with an idea: what if they film the President retrieving the cover and giving it back to the Marine? "It'd look great!" says the Chief Strategist.
Problem is, of course, it's already happened. "No problem!" says Axelrod, and finds a big fan. He places it off to the left, and positions everyone for the cut.
"And...ACTION!"
Bill and Hillary walk to the helicopter. The fan blows, but the Marine's cover doesn't come off.
"What the f@#$!" curses Hillary, and storms toward the helicopter. She flicks the Marine's cover off his head as she passes by him. "There!" She cackles and goes inside.
Bill sighs. "OK, David, let's do this." They try again. This time, they get it right!
"OK," Axelrod nods to the assembled media, "you all have your evening news story," they all hurry to their vans to take care of the dispatch.
Saw that this morning. Made me smile.
In an obviously raciest act Mr. Trump beats a black Marine for losing his hat in the wind. Other Corpsemen were forced to stand by and watch this racism fueled assault as Trump pummeled the man on his left arm while forcing him to stand at attention. Impeach now!

That would be an honor. I don’t know about holding an umbrella for a military-hating, America-sucks, pajama boy posing as a President.
If the C-I-C would have picked up the cover and tucked it under the Marines left arm and then stood at attention in front of him, saluted him, and waited for the young man to respond in kind, then carried on. That would have been perfect. But I bet the young man was just slightly under petrified status seeing Trump chase his cover across the tarmac.
Seeings how Trump is the C-I-C, he gets to goof with protocol if he wants. In the full video you can see Trump point to the hat as to tell his escort, “Im gonna go get that for him”. His SS guards were slowing up and starting to spin (bulkiness bulking out everywhere). You could tell it was a truly spontaneous moment.
Best Sunday morning in a while just because of this.

No he won’t. His cover was blown off by the wind. That young Marine did exactly what he was supposed to do. He knows he has to remain at the position of a tendon and he can retrieve his cover once the President is on board.
