Democrats intentionally used disinformation from Russia to attack Trump, campaign aides
The Washington Times ^ | July 11th, 2017 | By Rowan Scarborough

While the liberal news media hunts for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, the public record shows that Democrats have willfully used Moscow disinformation to influence the presidential election against Donald Trump and attack his administration.

The disinformation came in the form of a Russian-fed dossier written by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. It contains a series of unverified criminal charges against Mr. Trump’s campaign aides, such as coordinating Moscow’s hacking of Democratic Party computers.

Some Democrats have widely circulated the discredited information. Mr. Steele was paid by the Democrat-funded opposition research firm Fusion GPS with money from a Hillary Clinton backer. Fusion GPS distributed the dossier among Democrats and journalists. The information fell into the hands of the FBI, which used it in part to investigate Mr. Trump’s campaign aides.

Mr. Steele makes clear that his unproven charges came almost exclusively from sources linked to the Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He identified his sources as “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure,” a former “top level Russian intelligence officer active inside the Kremlin,” a “senior Kremlin official” and a “senior Russian government official.”

The same Democrats who have condemned Russia’s election interference via plying fake news and hacking email servers have quoted freely from the Steele anti-Trump memos derived from creatures of the Kremlin.

Fusion GPS, a Democrat-funded opposition research firm, apparently also represents Russian interests as well.

If Robert Mueller wants to do something with the broad powers granted to him as Special Counsel, he would do well to go hunting where the ducks are. But then, that would open to question the recent hires he has made to his team, which seem to have a preponderance of representation of the Hillary Clinton campaign staff and Clinton Foundation legal counsel.

I’m beginning to think the Democrats have dirt on Sessions. Nothing else explains his entire disregard of defending Trump.

Well at least we have Jeff Sessions.

Don't wake up AG Sessions,he is recusing which is the greatest blunder of this administration.

What explains it is that real investigations are not public. Witch hunts are public and Sessions doesn’t do witch hunts. Investigations of Hillary’s collusion is complicated by immunity. Sessions can’t legally undo immunity for her underlings. So he has to find other evidence or people without immunity. That takes lots of time.

The AG’s job is not to defend the president. He has much broader responsibilities and more important things to do.
Defending the president is the job of the White House counsel[and Trump, who can defend himself.]

The mark of a good AG is not playing politics- not leaking.
Sessions doesn’t leak.

The AG’s job :

(snip)The mission of the Office of the Attorney General is to supervise and direct the administration and operation of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Bureau of Prisons, Office of Justice Programs, and the U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals Service, which are all within the Department of Justice.
The principal duties of the Attorney General are to:
Represent the United States in legal matters.

Supervise and direct the administration and operation of the offices, boards, divisions, and bureaus that comprise the Department.

Furnish advice and opinions, formal and informal, on legal matters to the President and the Cabinet and to the heads of the executive departments and agencies of the government, as provided by law.

Make recommendations to the President concerning appointments to federal judicial positions and to positions within the Department, including U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals.

Represent or supervise the representation of the United States Government in the Supreme Court of the United States and all other courts, foreign and domestic, in which the United States is a party or has an interest as may be deemed appropriate.

Perform or supervise the performance of other duties required by statute or Executive Order.(/snip) - DOJ website

he is recusing

On anything related to the campaign. That should not rule out Hillary's server-related crimes and definitely does not rule out the illegal unmasking, etc. Those are difficult to investigate since much of the real evidence is classified.

“Well at least we have Jeff Sessions.”

Aww. Lay off Jeff Sessions.

People forget that political justice is settled in the court of public opinion and in the voting booth, not by the Attorney General, and rightly so.

There’s very little precedent for political crimes, such as Clinton’s email server or Clinton Foundation /State Department pay-for-play corruption, or Obama’s BenGazi cover-up, or Bill Clinton’s perjury or whatever Nixon did being brought to justice by the Justice Department or Attorney General.

Why? Because political “wrongdoing” is entirely a matter of partisan opinion; face it; only Republicans believe the Democrat politicians did anything criminal, and only Democrats believe the Republican politicians did anything criminal.

The Justice Department is part of the executive branch, headed up by the POTUS, who is either a Republican or a Democrat! If the Attorney General starts prosecuting politicians of the opposing party, no matter how justified, it will be seen as partisan politics.

The fact that the MSM has forsaken any pretense of objectivity in favor of shilling for the Democrat’s makes it difficult for Republicans, but the answer isn’t the Republican POTUS’s AG prosecuting Democrats, the answer is destroying the fake news.

Which is exactly what Trump is doing.

The voters did not take well to the Republicans’ attempting to impeach Clinton - they reelected him. Same thing will happen to the Democrats for their shameful attempt to destroy Trump - they will reelect Trumpmand punish the Democrats.

Trump is very wise to refrain from attempting to use his AG to attack the opposition party (even though they do deserve to be locked up).

You mean the ‘immunity’ given to those that testified as, “I don’t recall.” or “I take the 5th.”??

I’d LOVE to see *those* immunity deals.

Federal immunity goes through the DOJ chain of command and through a federal judge. No details of immunity are hidden or made by a single actor like Comey.

The Obama/Comey FBI gave limited immunity to Cheryl Mills, Bryan Pagliano, Paul Combetta, Heather Samuelson, and John Bentel.

AG Sessions has a lot of slippery fish to fry.

SESSIONS STARTED HIS FISH-FRY HERE----Hillary's emails popped on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. The emails were transferred by Clinton aide and confidant, Huma Abedin to her husband’s laptop. They were inadvertently uncovered during the probe of Weiner sending sexually explicit emails to a minor. The timing of the revelation could not have been worse for Clinton – just 11 days prior to the election.

FBI, DOJ Raid Huma Abedin Brother and Sister's Dearborn Home
Jody Rossell ^ | 06/03/17 / FR Posted by Enlightened1

On June 1, 2017 a raid took place in a home in the 7200 Block of Jonathon Street in Dearborn, Michigan which is owned by a “shell company,” turns out it’s actually owned by Huma Abedin’s brother and sister. This shell company is the Journal of Muslim Affairs. Important to note, Huma worked as an Assistant Editor for this company at one time.

Several FBI and DOJ officers left Washington enroute to Dearborn……convoys of cars descended on the home located at 7246 Jonathon Street, assisted by other law enforcement officers from neighboring locals.

During the Clinton campaign last summer, if you recall, we didn’t see Huma Abedin for awhile, she had apparently made a trip to Dearborn, Michigan. A few months before she left to visit her brother, Hassan Abedin’s home in Dearborn, she was interviewed by the FBI about Hillary Clinton’s lost emails. Upon Abedin’s testimony to the FBI, it is reported that a laptop containing an archived copy, along with a thumb drive, were lost in the mail.

Apparently after it was reported that Huma and Anthony Weiner would be getting a divorce shortly after Weiner was convicted in May, the story takes a different turn, they moved back into their home in New York City. Hmmm, this begs the question, is Weiner still going to prison?

Only 24 hours after the Weiner’s moved back into their home the Raid in Dearborn took place. It is assumed that when Huma left during Hillary’s campaign last summer, she made that secret trip to Dearborn to hide the archived copies of the missing emails. Events now are falling into place.

More.

More

As you may have read---the divorce is off and Anthony's moving back in. I guess Huma needs to keep Anthony close-by to keep his mouth zipped (not his pants).

Anthony might spill the beans about Huma's endless line of cousins dipping into Hillary's State Dept 's numerous slush funds...... the cousins becoming millionaires sucking up our tax dollars.

Also has A LOT to do w/ Huma's having the wherewithal to pay a pricey 12,000 monthly rental.....w/ her cut of thecousins' millions.

=========================================

REFERENCE----This'll give you nightmares, people.....counting up the endless line of Huma's cousins w/ their greedy Muslim hands in the State Dept cookie jar.

UNDER HOUSE ARREST---This smirking creep is Huma's first cousin AKA a serial swindler
He subsidized businesses w/ our tax dollars looted from Hillary's State Dept. He made six million dollars vanish.

EXCERPT--“Thanks for getting in touch. Would love to arrange a meeting,” Huma Abedin replied in a June 23, 2009, email to her cousin Omar Amanat and Shamil Idriss, who heads New York-based Soliya Inc.

In May 2010, then-Secy Clinton helped Soliya get access to U.N. funding by making the U.S. a participant in a U.N. high-tech media initiative called the Alliance of Civilizations. Then in October 2010, the State Department directly awarded Soliya $1.25 million for a media technology project. “Huma helped Omar make KIT appear more valuable because of its association with the Alliance of Civilizations, which was approved by Hillary and funded in part by U.S. grants (tax dollars),” said an attorney familiar with the case.

“This helped Omar raise money for KIT, which he and his brother misappropriated for other purposes. Approximately $6 million has vanished.”

Amanat took KIT Digital public in August 2009. At the time, Amanat, known as a “serial swindler,” was in personal bankruptcy and being sued by other investors. Despite his reputation, he still managed to gain special access to US government tax dollars thanks to his ties to his well-positioned cousin and the Clinton Foundation.

THE MONEY LAUNDRY Records show that Omar Amanat and several other Abedin family members and related charities have together donated as much as $1.2 million to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative, as well as the Clinton Health Access Initiative.

Omar Amanat, Abedin's cousin, who personally contributed as much as $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation, was appointed to the Council on Foreign Relations during the time that Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of state.

While the FBI has apparently closed its espionage investigation into Clinton’s unsecured private email server (the House has reopened it), its public corruption investigation into the Clinton Foundation remains open.

It’s not clear if this still-active probe overlaps with the Amanat fraud investigation. However, investigators reportedly continue to look into alleged “pay-for-play” schemes involving the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation and its wealthy donors, as well as entities that paid the Clintons millions of dollars in speaking fees.

Judicial Watch and other government watchdog groups have charged that the Clinton Foundation was a pay-for-play operation that rewarded its benefactors with State Department favors. And tax dollars....all you could possible want.
