Absolutely true. I can add only this: it is a shame that the moment was not seized to raze the Al_Aksa Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock, to the ground, and expel ALL Jordanian Arabs across the river to Jordan. All of these actions would not have added to Arab, or International, hatred of Israel, or the Jews, by 1/1000 of 1%...if at all. An opportunity missed.

Yes , if those two structures would have been destroyed m in the course of the Six Day War , it would have been written up by history as just one of the sad effects of that great great Israeli victory . The Arabs attacked again anyway , in ‘73.

The Israelis could still stage a fake ISIS attack on both mosques and attribute it to those guys . Never too late ;^)
