Because now that you mention it, I recall that Peters was always ranting about how we must confront Russia. Gotta go toe-to-toe with the Ruskies!
Trump is not inclined to move in that direction. So Peters probably figures Trump must go. And so he’ll say anything to help make that happen.
I use to like the guy but he definitely went over the cliff. One thing for sure, Trump has brought out the true colors of a lot of people.
