Sorry...I see the rank mistake is from the dummy reporter at the Daily Mail

Took me two and a half years to make Corporal so it irks me

Yes. That first pic (post 5), IMO, is particularly sad, yet beautiful at the same time.

There is no greater evidence of The Lord’s love of humanity than Him blessing us with the joy, love and loyalty a dog gives,

Sleep well Boy.

“you can detect that the dog knows its fate. Still, it keeps its head high so the human rendering honors can show her love. Wonderful photograph. Sigh “

Got that feeling before posted this. Animals know when it’s their time. Pretty sure he knew he was well loved and will be missed.

RE: the headline, a dog is not a “who,” a dog is a “that.” “Who” is a personal pronoun. Being as it’s a personal pronoun, it would be grammatically incorrect to apply it to anything that is not a person.

Leave it to The Mail to screw up the obit for a hero.

SEMPER FIDELIS CENA.

When he dies and goes to HEAVEN, to St. Peter he will tell,
“ONE MORE MARINE REPORTING SIR, I’V SERVED MY TIME IN HELL”.

With LOVE, HONOR, and PRIDE.
