Just one more reason we Northern Californians want to split from California and start out own state, The State of Jefferson.

First, these taxes will not go to fixing roads and bridges. They will go to funding California's fraudulent pension system.

Second, Brown and the Libturds have been wanting to impose a mileage tax on Californians for years. That is what this is. The more miles you drive, the more taxes you pay.

Damn. That’s a 5 dollar increase minimum. That is at least 20 dollars a month if they have a 10 gallon car and only fill up once a week. Just bring on I5 everyday makes filling up more often. That is crazy!!! They went from cheapest tax in the nation to most expensive.

There are pockets of Jeffersonians elsewhere in the Golden State.

If Oroville Dam had breech, the positive outcome would have been a giant flushing sound as Sacramento was washed out to sea.

Welcome to a vivid demonstration of the ruling elite, and how they screw the public. These fascists make laws for the common herd, and throw the public in jail if they don’t obey. They want money and obedience from the ordinary slob.
But for themselves, it’s paradise, on your dime. They live high on the hog, off our money. They give themselves perks, privileges and exemptions.

The US congress gave itself subsidies up to 73% for obamacare premiums, illegally and unfairly. Ask the members of congress what privileges they have given themselves at our expense. What we have is no better than under a king or a dictator. The only difference is that we are brainwashed as kids into thinking that we have a real nice democracy.

They went from cheapest tax in the nation to most expensive.

California's gasoline tax may have been relatively low as an excise tax (per gallon), but California has been charging sales tax on top of the price of that gas, which already includes the excise tax. So, basically, you've been paying a tax on the tax, too.

No, the funds won’t go to the pension system, or anything remotely sensible either. They will go to Jerry’s legacy choo choo.

But the caring and compassionate female voters of California just wanted a little socialism to Save our Schools. Rich white men can afford it. Won't someone please think of the poor teachers and their "pupils"? /s

California legislators are sucking the life out of California for their personal gain while they can, and will let President Trump pick up the pieces.

Yes but the “good news” is this is a tax on the poor. The poor will have to choose between food and gas. IOW, politically unpopular.

In the not too distant future Kalifornia will be the first state to ban internal combustion engine cars. They will follow Europe.

As in times past, the Kalifornia market is so large it will spread its influence to the rest of the country.

So much for taxation without representation. The state is too big and needs to be broken apart. Too big to fail mentality is insane and California is the Titanic. Leaving the union is fantasy but I know there are millions of conservatives in California who would sign off on a new state.

Liberalism is a disease that devoured California in a relatively short amount of time! It's rather sad.
