I can’t think of a better time to sell low on a poorly performing, ethically challenged company? It’s filled to the brim with toxic and unprofessional staff in key positions. The strip it down and rebuild process would be horrible and expensive. Which also brings us to our Washington Swamp. Maybe it would be good practice?
On their balance books, they are putting up around a billion a year in profits. I do agree...they could be doing better than that. If the CBS crowd did buy them....at least for the first year, I wouldn’t expect much of a change. Internationally, this might be a plus-up for CBS because CNN is highly viewed outside of the US and is a noted brand-name.
