...can you please tell us what’s written on the plaque?...(using not so smart phone here) *smiles*
It is a plaque dedicating a bridge in Michigan to SEAL Heath Robinson:
When people driving on US-2 near Epoufette see the Heath Michael Robinson Cut River Memorial Bridge, family and friends of the Navy SEAL namesake hope that they might take a moment to reflect on who he is and what sacrifices he made for his country.
Mr. Robinson, son of Debora Robinson-Coxe of St. Ignace and Dan Robinson of Harbor Springs, was a Senior Chief with the Naval Special Warfare Developmental Group when he died in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when insurgents shot down the CH-47 Chinook helicopter carrying him and 29 other American service members, 17 of them SEALs. Mr. Robinson grew up in Petoskey and was graduated from Petoskey High School in 1995, whereupon he joined the Navy to become a SEAL.
