American beef tastes better because of American corn.
Ever had a steak in Calgary ? Toronto ?

No thinks, I’ll have the fish...

I lived in Western Kansas for 5 years. There are a whole bunch of feed lots and you can smell them a long way off.

I killed a mule deer and it tasted just like beef. I suspect it had fed off the fields of wheat and milo.

Canadian feedlots use a lot of barley, as it is more practical than corn given the short growing season in Alberta.

Hah! We just got back from Banff area. All the restaurants bragged about “Alberta beef.”

Midwest US beef is corn fed and much better than anything served up there.

The walleye and salmon are fantastic in Canada.

You are exactly correct. Cattle on feed fed 75 - 85% corn in the diet for a minimum of 125 days on feed deposit intramuscular fat known as marbling which is directly responsible for juiciness, flavor and tenderness.
