President Trump on Saturday signed a bill that will pump funds into the Veterans choice program to keep it up and running, while Washington continues to fight over how best to give veterans the care they earned — but which the government has sometimes failed to deliver.
Approved in the wake of the wait-list scandal that saw hundreds of veterans die while stuck on secret wait lists, the choice program allows those caught in backlogs to seek care at from a private clinic or doctor and bill the costs back to the Veterans Affairs Department.....

Good, it’s worked well for me on 3 different occasions already.
Glad to hear that....good to get confirmation there’s been favorable changes to the VA.
Also, the White House has set-up a Vet’s helpline to help expedite claims which are pending. From reading Vet blogs, it seems to be working out quite well.
Now if we could just do away with income issues. I’m just barely qualified for treatment and meds as long as I pay the co-pays. Without it I can no way in hell afford my meds. Still fighting with them.

That’s so good to hear.....thanks for posting....it’s one thing to hope things have changed for our Vets it’s another when they are saying it has.
If President Trump continues to focus on issues such as jobs and this one, 2020 will be a good year for him.
Agreed. Trump - UNLIKE so many before him - has demonstrated that he fully intends to keep his promises to vets.
