The mayor of Lexington, Kentucky, says after the events in Charlottesville, Virginia, he is taking the steps to remove two Confederate-era statues from the lawn of a former courthouse.
Mayor Jim Gray tweeted Saturday he will ask the Lexington-Fayette County Urban County Council at its Tuesday work session to ask a state military commission for permission to take down the statues of John Hunt Morgan and John C. Breckinridge.
Gray tweeted he intended to make the announcement next week, but the "tragic events in Charlottesville" had accelerated his announcement.

If you look at objectively, these virtue signalers are really attacking veterans. Congress said in a series of laws from the late 1800’s up through 1958, that Confederate vets were to be considered US vets [latest was Public Law 85-425 on 5/23/58].

You’re right; when I see skinhead-types, I know many of them see the writing on the wall: Our government denies them opportunity under the guise of “diversity” and “equal outcomes”, and taxes them to death giving their money to non-whites who use it to breed.
