I’m all from preserving Civil War History. Im sure you are too. But, I saw men wearing old fashioned Robert Byrd Klan white sheet outfits shouting at the leftists. Plenty of blame to go around.

If these guys wanted to preserve Civil War statues so badly, what the hell was a tiki torch parade, Richard Spencer, and a bunch of hicks wearing Klan garb going to accomplish?

Here’s an idea. Hold a discussion forum with scholars on both sides to discuss Lee’s life and the pros and cons of his image and let people make statements for or against by taking turns at a microphone.
