I would be scared, I would definitely be in fear of my life if I was driving and people like that were blocking me from being able to get away. The same groups that were there have been violent many times in the past; were being violent that day. Any reasonable thinking person would have a lot of fear.

To me it seems reasonable that the driver was afraid to let them stop his car, had fear that his life would be in danger if he stopped. I will wait for all the facts, but if the man was just trying to keep from being captured and beaten or worse I feel he was justified.

What is the justification for blocking traffic? For violence, property destruction, and assault? Those actions are not free speech or a part of a legitimate protest. I have been wondering through all of this how protestors can be allowed to block traffic, it should never be allowed by the authorities.

In the video linked to in post #8, one can clearly see people moving quickly out of the driver’s way before someone runs out and hits the rear end of the car with what appears to be a baseball bat. The driver instigated the attack on himself by the way he was driving. And I am unaware of any other vehicle being attacked that day.

There are surely numerous videos and still photos taken in that town on Saturday.First they must be certified as not having been altered (hell,even *I* know how to use Microsoft Paint).Once that's done it should be easy to determine things like who was involved? What kind of t-shirts were they wearing? What,if anything,were they carrying? (flowers,baseball bats,firearms).Apart from the incident with the car what attacks,if any,were carried out and by whom?
