Yes I imagine a presidential pardon for a misdemeanor conviction would make some kind of history.
Try to remember that Arpaio is an old man.
With a pardon he will not have to spend the rest of his life in court defending himself from a bunch of Liberal idiots out to punish him for defending Americans from the invading hordes.
He also will not die broke and in debt to lawyers.
A pardon will allow him to enjoy the rest of his life in peace or pursuing more productive goals.
He said the exact same thing about the Navy guy then never did it
