Note the part where several protesters said that they are part of the Durham chapter of the Workers World Party. Also, law enforcement officials did nothing when the statue was being pulled down in order to avoid injuries.

revolutionary socialist organization, engaging in struggles for the working class and the oppressed

I'm surprised that tub o' lard could string that many multi-syllable words together in a sentence.

"I'm tired of white supremacy keeping its foot on my neck and the necks of people who look like me," Thompson said at a separate news conference. "That statue glorifies the conditions that oppressed people live in, and it had to go."

Just like that mural at Yale(?), too many black people when confronted with something of they do not approve resort to destroying it and vandalism.

Some protest organizers defended their actions Tuesday

"We get to decide whose property we can destroy."

So, Takiyah, ready to exchange it for Islam which is even more oppressive?

>>Don’t mistake restraint for inaction,” he said. “Had I ordered my deputies to engage a hostile crowd, there would have been serious injuries. Statues can be replaced; lives cannot…”

After a questionable shooting where a cop kills a citizen or pet, people always ask, “why didn’t the cop just back off to a safe distance and see how this would play out?” and the cops always say that they have a legal obligation that prevent them from ever retreating.

So, which is it?

I wonder if liberal news media's self-imposed ban on the word "Communist" will be broken now what "Workers World Party" might be mentioned.

No, of course not! What am I thinking?

A person died due to unrest caused in rioting as a direct result of this feral ho’s actions.

Maybe manslaughter charges are due?

...”revolutionary socialist organization, engaging in struggles for the working class and the oppressed”.

Working class here, and you do NOT speak for me. I take care of myself and would greatly appreciate you NOT “struggling for” me, just as I don’t use you to advance an agenda. And who in America is oppressed these days?

“Sheriff: Public safety comes first Andrews called the protesters’ actions “a blatant violation of the law,” but he said no one was arrested during the demonstration because officials worried about injuries in the resulting chaos.”

It would be a dirty shame if some of these communist bastards got hurt wouldn’t it? What a worthless sheriff this prick is.
