President Trump announced Wednesday he is shutting down two jobs councils, amid a wave of resignations by executives in the wake of the president’s response to the violence in Charlottesville.

"Rather than putting pressure on the businesspeople of the Manufacturing Council & Strategy & Policy Forum, I am ending both. Thank you all!" he wrote on Twitter.

The statement came amid multiple reports that the Strategic and Policy Forum, a group of top business leaders, had already agreed to disband.

PRESIDENT TRUMP does not need leftist Anti-Trump input.

Time for small businesses to get started. If Trump can get some deregulation, this will be a self-starting movement.

Many of us would be in business for ourselves if it weren’t such a labyrinth of red tape and burdensome regulation. The big companies can afford it and the illegals just ignore it.

No, rather it’s likely they joined and then learned that they are wusses, easily bullied by the idiot left and its PC Police.

The Gaystapo alone has people convinced that they cannot be good people unless they support all things poofter.

I don’t blame President Trump for this, not at all.
But, I hope he will open up similar opportunities for some of the ‘regular Americans’ out here to help study things and prepare recommendations to improve the economy and JOBS, and also on a number of additional subjects.

There’s no reason why our govt should cater so thoroughly to the ruling elite and elitists. Some of these are capable people, but there are many more capable people out here who just happen not to occupy such privileged power positions as CEO of major corporations. We could really help President Trump (and thereby USA) succeed....if given a chance...

Many of these mega corps got hijacked or...started by Bill Clinton, and every since they have been taken over by socialist causes and or sued into submission. Furthermore, the execs have been financially or sexually compromised into submission. These folks didn’t quit, they were ORDERED to quit.

Yes, the entire echelon of big companies in the us and globally are now owned lock stock and barrel by marxists.

Trump was exactly right to call out AMZN today. He knows the deal, and we can only hope he does what it takes to destroy these money machines of the left.

Boycott all big companies. It’s easy, just never buy from any big company. If everyone starts doing this, they’ll be toast within a couple few years.

Interesting. I’ve been to three Trump rallies since last September, and I didn’t see any of these CEOs at any of them.

The benefit of a national faultline visibly opening up all across the country is that
people are now self-identifying:

Globalists vs Nationalists: the faultline

Men without God vs God-fearing Men: the faultline

The entire Left, the GOPe, Wall Street, BigMedia vs Constitutional Conservatives,
patriots, Main Street, LittleMedia: the faultline

Mostly white corporate socialists haven’t been getting handouts from the administration (H1B visas in particular),
and decide to stomp their feet and leave using current events as a convenient excuse.

I AM in business for myself - 3 employees and some temp workers and commissioned sales agents.

I believe the leftist regulatory nanny-state is in the DNA of all Federal regulators, and they very much prefer a fascist style (they wouldn’t call it that) command economy with a few politically-connected large companies that they can deal with and regulate easily, which is greatly preferred over the cacophony of many small businesses.

It appears that these “Big Corporations” cannot make it on their own. I agree with some of the comments that a few joined this group so they could do this to President Trump. This is a coordinated attack, obviously signaled by the “Deep State”.

The IDIOT CEO’s were using it to make political statements.

“I’m resigning because Trump did/did not do [insert stupid libtard cause here]”!

Well, go F yourselves.

Some things need to be addressed.

First the “personhood” of entities needs to be eliminated.

Second there needs to be reform of tort laws that are presently biased against true private proprietorships.

Third, we need to make a summary end of any sense that ANYONE but banks are responsible for reporting cash transactions. The depositor should not ever be considered responsible for if his transactions are reported or not.

Fourth, and related, asset forfeiture needs to be limited ONLY to instances where there is already an actual conviction for crimes, should never be the preview of tax collecting agents, and moreover should be limited to the defined limits of what fines may be collected by statute.

Fifth, it would be nice to recognize that artificial entities have inherent advantages in raising capital after the following fashion: allow flesh and blood Persons to be able to retain intellectual property rights longer than entities.

Moreover, all IP needs to be unified to the durations of technical patents. If a trademark or other non-technical IP is to remain in force it must be used ... which would mean that, for example, if Disney wants to keep its mouse it needs to continue to make mouse cartoons.

These would be a good start.

They were all just Never-Trumpers waiting for an opportunity to feign outrage and resign.

Time for small businesses to get started.

What Trump really needs to do is replace with a newly created Jobs Council consisting entirely of accomplished SMALL business people. He would get more REAL solutions out of them and a lot more bang for the buck.
