As a Republican, I have no objection to keeping around old statues of Democrats. If you tear down all the confederate (Democrat) statutes, where will the pigeons poop?
If CS monuments and statuary cannot be respected where they stand , let the Sons of Confederate Veterans take them on , for re-placement where they are loved and respected .

Hannity had a guest on tonight who said it best. If you must remove anything that supported and promoted slavery, you’d have to dispense with the Democrat party.

The statues and monuments seem safe in towns, rural areas and at the state level. It’s only in Democrat-infested cities where they suddenly became a problem in 2015, after a century of no one, Left, Right or anywhere in-between, minding.

Good, almost 2/3 of americans are against liberal bookburning.
It’s more than 62% anyway. This is a leftist polling firm and they over sampled Democrats 10%. And even with their cooked numbers of oversampling Democrats by 10% the majority still agree with us.
Maybe Trump should just cut the cities loose. Is this possible?

And this is a national poll too. Imagine what the numbers are like among just Southerners, as it's really irrelevant what people in California think about a statue in Tennessee.
