Simple way to ask the question:
“At any time prior to or during the incident in question; did you ask, imply, demand, require, request, suggest or desire in any manner that the law enforcement in your city, county or state to stand down, not enforce the laws to the fullest extent of the laws, ignore the infractions, misdemeanors, or felonies that were being committed during the incident in question?

Unmasking the leftist Antifa movement: Activists seek peace through violence

That’s the actual CNN headline. Peace through violence!

I replied with a lyric from an ELO song “Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends”

Electric Light Orchestra, or Emerson, Lake, and Palmer?

This is how an effective lawyer (one who actually wanted an answer to what happened) would ask the question. I watched so many Senate/House hearings with our stupid(complicit?) senators asking questions in a way that let the witness avoid an actual answer. Are Republicans really stupid, or do they just want to please their globalist donors?

Jake, Jake...these are people who throw Molotov cocktails at public buildings and hit people with bike locks. What did you expect?

The real risk to taking sides, as the media demonstrably have, is that you don't have any friends when the crazies in the side you've taken turn on you. One measure of just how comfortable and complacent journalists' lives have become in this country is that they find that surprising.

Almost all Congressional hearings are scripted, with questions and answers agreed upon ahead of the tv show. The best a Congressman can usually do is ask questions in a way that make clear to the audience that the witness won’t answer straightforwardly.

Hearing aren’t prosecutions. They are intended as information for Congress to determine budgets and rules. Since Congress no longer does those things beyond pork-barrel projects, hearings are a waste of time.

“Police said the stand down order came from the mayor.”

Was the mayor in command of the state police also?

I remember hearings during the Clinton presidency. The Dems had one or two super sharp lawyers ask most of their questions. Republicns had the scripted stupid questions asked by each Senator/ Congressman which went nowhere.

One prominent Dem said that there had never been so many people pleading the fifth or fleeing the country as during the Clinton administration. It was so frustrating, especially when the Republicans did not even make Fifth Amendment pleaders come in and publicly take the oath, listen to a question and then plead. Just imagine the historical video that could have be made out of that. Instead the Republicans just let the people's lawyers send a lettter.

That fat finger error was already corrected.

But, thanks for playing.

The Goebbelsmedia does not like it when their people get swept up in the violence it encourages.
