HOUSTON — A Houston man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught trying to plant explosives on a Confederate statue at a Houston park, authorities said Monday.

Prosecutors allege 25-year-old Andrew Schneck was caught on Saturday evening near a statue of Richard Dowling, a lieutenant in the Confederate army. A Houston park ranger found Schneck holding two boxes with duct tape and wires as well as a bottle and a small tube containing compounds that tests later revealed were explosive materials, according to a criminal complaint.

Yep and they’ve been cheered on by the media and the political establishment who took sides with them as “fighting nazis”

The left is one great big psychosis. They are unleashed now. The starting gun was sounded when the media completely distorted Trump’s comments on Charlottesburg. They started destroying things. There will probably be some injuries and the left will blame it on Trump.

““When asked by (the park ranger) if he wanted to harm the statue, Schneck responded that he did, and that he (Schneck) did not ‘like that guy,’” according to the criminal complaint.”

I was afraid something like this would happen. For some reason I'm reminded of John Brown's murder raid. Probably because so many “well-intentioned” people support blowing up anything they don't like.

No known connection, but reports say 63 people were shot down in the streets of Chicago last weekend.

I’m not fond of statues for religious reasons, but it’s the man’s terrorist intention that counts in that instance.

“197,935 signed”

Make it more than 1.3 million (more than the stupid demand by Antifa university instructors and students for the copy of the tax filing). 25 days should be more than enough to do so.

Surely by liberal standards this would be considered a terrorist/hate crime if it were one of their precious statues.

Pretty sure it's a federal legal standard actually:

The U.S. Code of Federal Regulations defines terrorism as "the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives" (28 C.F.R. Section 0.85

I’m not entirely sure this is the same Andrew Schneck, but if it is, then this is not the first wannabe terrorist rodeo for this clown: http://houston.culturemap.com/news/city-life/10-08-13-houston-terrorism-probe-extends-to-a-texas-college-fbi-agents-descend-on-a-dorm/#slide=2

Left-wing terrorism, though that is redundant

Recall that Fat Marxist Michael Moore called Al Qaeda "insurgents" and "freedom fighters" in Iraq who deserved to win and send Americans licking their wounds leaving with their tails between their legs.
