Yes, definitely a good tactic.

I saw no violence at all. Apparently at night, after people were leaving-—which is when a police presence is quite necessary-—some people were attacked.

FYI, when we quit paying for the local propaganda rag at least a decade ago, we started getting a coupon/circular bundle mailed to us every Wednesday. Apparently, circulation had dropped so precipitously for the local rag, it was the only way advertisers could get their circulars to most folks.

The mailed bundle is probably not quite as extensive as the bundle in the paper itself, especially the Sunday paper, but it has all of the grocery store circulars, which is all we care about anyway. For any others we might care about, we just go to the stores’ websites and signup for their circulars to automatically emailed.

And for the icing on the cake, the local rag has an email signup where they’ll email you a synopsis of the main local articles (with links) to the full articles every day, though one day behind the paper publication. Using firefox with ad blocker addons, and FF’s readerview button, and nuking cookies whenever necessary, the articles can be read without the normal massive popup interference.

Good insight on how liberal news media is still pushing the "violence at Trump rallies hoax." In President Trump's speech he briefly brought up how Clinton hired thugs disrupted his campaign rallies.

This is similar to my experience on the line at candidate Trump's appearance in The Woodlands, Texas.

All of us on the line knew that we would never get inside the Woodlands Waterway Marriott & Convention Center, but we all had a great time just being a part of the line and sharing stories.

What we see before us now confirms what most American citizens of even average intelligence know--that the self-described "resistors" are members of that cult of "progressivism" which seeks to rewrite the history of how a people ridded themselves of the abominable practice of slavery through provisions anticipated and allowed by their own Constitution of government--a previously unheard-of miracle which should be celebrated.

In order to confront and understand that history, with all its painful parts, they prefer to erase it, along with the lessons which might be learned from it.

Good insight on how liberal news media is still pushing the "violence at Trump rallies hoax."

I was watching on a local Phoenix news channel. The "reporters" talked about the violence that erupted at the end of the rally and suggested that it was due to Trump being so abrasive! As if the thugs on the outside went home to get their gas masks, clubs, and gas cannisters after they found out how inflammatory Trump was.

These reporters are real morons!

Great Post. You hit the nail right on the head. But few have examined why they pretend....a pretense of a whole ‘brave new world.’ They pretend not because they are “progressives.” They pretend because they are Utopian liberals willing to use violence and socialism to gain their Utopia...they want to be an ethnic and racial master authority..Utopia can only be attained by an organized totalitarian state, and that’s what the left in America wants. Make no mistake about it. When combined with racial and ethnic nationalism, that makes them one thing, defined by history:

The Secret Service is probably why Phoenix went rather smoothly. They may have a great police department, but ahead of such events the SS coordinates everything with police in advance. They show up ahead of time and walk the streets, go up in buildings, and draw up a blueprint for what they want. They usually hide some snipers up high, after walking these buildings and getting the angles they want, right down to planning for crowd control at the ground level. And a lot more than that. I have personally dealt with them on such occasions and saw it firsthand.

I was there, too! We suffered mightily in the heat and I still feel kind of light-headed and weak today. But the rally was absolutely worth it.

Trump gave a barn-burner of a speech! Our crowd of about 15,000 was raucous and full of fun, but the most fun was booing the fake news media and (even more specifically ) CNN.

The fake news media is freaked out that ordinary voters hate them so much. They reported that the anti-Trump protesters were “peaceful”. I guess “peaceful” for the fake news media means the protesters didn’t try to murder the Trump supporters. That penned-up small crowd of slavering Trump-hating lunatics was anything but peaceful. They were screaming at us with lots of hate in their voices and used very obscene language. For sure, if there hadn’t been such a strong police presence, they would have attempted to attack and kill the Trump supporters.

After the Trump supporters quietly and peacefully left the venue, the anti-Trump vicous lunatics became aggressive towards the police. The police ordered them to disperse and they refused to obey the police. Then they started throwing rocks and other things at the police. The violent protesters got gassed and pelted with rubber bullets by the police—they deserved far worse.

BTW, FWLIW, based on some supporting videos of them being demonstrated in an earlier thread, I’m 99% certain that AntiFA dude got hit with a pepperball. We can only hope some of the pepper made it through his clothing to his nads . . .

Oh, and in case you didn’t catch it, he was removed from the field by a guy wearing a Kaepernick, which is mildly amusing for some reason.
