Abuse Of Power: The IRS scandal seemingly has lain dormant now for months, all but forgotten amid the spate of recent anti-Trump media spasms, the ongoing violent antics of the antifa leftists and, now, Hurricane Harvey's devastation. But even if much of Washington has forgotten about it, a Washington judge hasn't.
As reported by the Washington Examiner, Judge Reggie B. Walton of the Washington, D.C., District Court last week revived legal attention to the scandal, telling the IRS it has to reveal the names of IRS employees who targeted conservative, libertarian and Tea Party groups.
But Walton didn't stop there. He also gave the IRS until Oct. 16 to find all the records in IRS databases from May 2009 to March 2015 that are relevant to the case and to explain just why these groups were targeted.
All of this is the result of a suit against the IRS brought in 2013 by True the Vote and 38 other groups. The groups have doggedly pursued the IRS for four years after the tax agency held up their tax-exempt status before and during the 2012 election year for what appear to be blatantly political reasons. In their search for justice, the groups have had little help from the mostly apathetic, left-leaning media that wish conservative groups would just go away.
Now, with Walton's order to the IRS, PJ Media's Rick Moran asks the provocative question: "Is the IRS Scandal about break wide open?"
The answer seems to be yes. And it's about time. This is one of the most serious abuses of power by a federal agency in decades.

At a minimum this matter is two years old. POTUS has had 8 months to get rid of the IRS Director. Not one move has been made. The IRS has lied to the American people. It has lied to this same Judge many times. Now it is kicked down the road another 2 months. Does anyone really think something will happen. Trump could have ordered full disclosure on 1-20-17. Judges have made these types of rulings in the past regarding the Clintons. then after time, they are rendered “MOOT”. We are still waiting for emails from Clinton’s term in 2000. Judge ordered them released. Four years later they decided the point was “MOOT”. bush was Pres. He didn’t question anything.
True, but why is Koskinen, Obama’s appointee, still the head of the IRS? He should have been retired on January 20th.
Next to Hillary Clinton, the next person in line that I would like to see in a orange Federal prison jump suit is that smug, arrogant IRS bit** Lois Lerner.

Make that: He also gave the IRS until Oct. 16 to SANITIZE all the records in IRS databases from May 2009 to March 2015. Obongo’s stooge still runs the IRS , nothing comes of this.
Nothing will happen to the IRS criminals. For some reason our DOJ is doing very little.
No justice will be served. The 4th branch of government, the bureaucrats aka Deep State live under different laws than the rest of us peasants. They along with the politicaly correct elites are above the law.
It’s good for them now but when they succeed in tearing the republic down and it all goes to hell they will be very popular with the peasants they have shat on for 50 yrs.
Because Trump's tax returns for the last decade will be leaked to the NY Times within hours of his being removed.

I can’t help but think the original orders came from someone along the lines of Valerie Jarret. This is exactly the sort of dirty work she was there for. This whole stall was never to protect the low laying fruit but the higher ups.
