You can follow up the insult cartoon with your reasoning why it is ok for Amazon to grow so big

Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. I’m no expert on the subject.

I do know after a while prices tend to REALLY rise when one company owns everything.

Check out the meat prices at amazon fresh BTW.

Start at about 20 a pound.

Why isn’t it OK for a smart well run company that is not a monopoly in ANY market segment (people love throwing the word around with Amazon but it is simply not true) to grow and continue to be a smart well run company?

I took it as a serious question, and by way of an answer demonstrated the govt can and has done something.

Oh, and I did not intend the cartoon as an insult, more a bit of perspective on how a country with a total government FAILING monopoly viewed our breaking up of a private SUCCESSFUL monopoly...
