Oops. No good! The car clearly emerges from the angled feeder and crosses the main roadside drainage conduit. Had to be sitting there, as it’s a “short shoot”.
(Can you imagine what the muzzie-poohs will do when they get their murderous hands on that kind of technology?!?)
That tracks with the You Tube commenter. When I called the Springfield PD about the incident they were not aware, saying the Secret Service would have handled it. I guess my call got them moving to find out what happened.
Two women in the car, passenger gets out, obese, short cropped dark hair. Have these women been identified?
The You Tube poster who said she was a passenger apparently used her real name, but has apparently deleted her comments.
Now the YouTube comments have SPD asking the video title be changed; that it was unintentional. (If that’s the real Springfield PD.)

Any fool who tried to ram that vehicle with an ordinary street car would be in a world of hurt from the impact, let alone the SS. The presidential limo is built like a small tank underneath its pretty skin. It weighs about 7 tons with armor plating estimated to be 8 inches thick. And it has gigantic Goodyear tires reinforced with Kevlar run-flats. It's designed to stay intact and keep running under severe attack. In contrast, the average street car/SUV weighs in the range of 2 tons, some a little less, some a little more, and are designed to absorb impacts by crumpling. No contest.
The drainage ditch makes me wonder if they were hoping to go airborne and come down on top of or near The Beast, in a blaze of glory. Literally like a movie stunt. Then when they didn’t, they just drove on the grass and stopped.
Honestly, their brakes failed on that day AND time AND location right when POTUS was passing, not any other segment of the long motorcade?!

I gave AlGore the finger once when he was in San Jose. Since I happened to be the only person on the street, two motor cops stopped and asked me if I “..meant any harm to the Vice-president”. I said “Not any more than he means for me.” They laughed and drove on.
“Guys” leaves out the possibility that it could be Hillary.
While I do not doubt that it is very well armored, I strongly doubt it is 8’’ of armor plate. You’d exceed your 7 tons figure in not many square feet. You’re talking thicker armor than a WWII heavy cruiser, at 8” (!!).

I hope our team learns something from this. The car should have been engulfed in gunfire......but don’t stop.
