A letter from two Republican governors — John Kasich of Ohio and Brian Sandoval of Nevada — five Democrats, and one independent urged congressional leaders to do everything in their power to help the people currently on the law's individual insurance exchanges and to stabilize the program going forward. [snip] The letter called on the Trump administration to continue to try to make the law known as Obamacare work by increasing outreach to get people to sign up for plans.

LMAO.

Translation: "ObamaCare is failing because there aren't enough stupid people signing up for useless insurance plans with unaffordable premiums and exorbitant deductibles. Please become a charlatan and a huckster and help convince Americans to make a stupid financial decision by signing up right now!"

If Kasich is behind it I’m against it.

“try to make the law known as Obamacare work by increasing outreach to get people to sign up “

Well! There you go! The Republicans being the “weak kneed” bastards they really are. I fully expected this.

Yup...the postman’s kid who didn’t even bother to attend the republican convention last summer...held in his own state, and we’re supposed to listen to what he has to say? He’s irrelevant.

Was their plan to repeal it? If not, then no need for me to read it.

They need to bring back the Pajama Boy campaign. That’ll fix it.

I decided to read the entire article. If I understand it correctly it says something to the effect of, If you don’t give us more money, at least give the insurance companies more money. And for lack of that, give people in rural areas the ability to be insured like a federal employee

That doesn’t sound like ‘repeal’ to me.

Given that they are both governors why don’t they do it themselves for their own states?

Obamacare allows state run exchanges.

Spend your own state’s $$$

Oh, so NOW they're going to “increase outreach” to get people to buy overpriced high deductible insurance. Doesn't Kasich remember pajama boy and how great that worked? Relax, put on your comfy pjs, sip a hot cocoa and talk to family members about what a stupid ahole waffle man Kasich is!

Obamacare has had 8 years to work.

It doesn’t and has damaged the insurance industry and it’s exchanges are defunct. It’s time to repeal.

And, lest we forget, the reason this is really coming to a head is that the government is off the hook for covering the losses of the insurance companies next year. That’s how Obamacare got scored as being a savings for the budget by the CBO 8 years ago. Well now the insurance companies are pulling out and these morons are claiming we need to Lfix” the law and continue to prop up the insurance companies because THIs 10 billion will work.

NO!

I want my medical liberty back - destroy Obamacare and make hospitals state their prices up front for elective care and let insurance negotiate for emergency care.

Get the government out of my health care!

As I read it, every suggestion involves spend more tax-payer dollars to try and support a plan that was never designed to work longterm in the first place.

Here’s the bastards we can thank for this mess:
John Kasich, R-Ohio
John Hickenlooper, D-Colorado
Brian Sandoval, R-Nevada
Tom Wolf, D-Pennsylvania
Bill Walker, I-Alaska
Terry McAuliffe, D-Virginia
John Bel Edwards, D-Louisiana
Steve Bullock, D-Montana
