Churches taking 'next steps' in fight over mandatory abortion funding

'The court's decision ignores the longstanding freedom of faith communities to act' within their mission!

Churches in California are deliberating their next move after a federal court ruled Friday that they must – no exceptions – pay for what they consider sin.

It’s the abortion payment funding requirement in their health insurance plans.

The Alliance Defending Freedom, a non-profit legal organization dedicated to “advocating for religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family,” warned in a statement that its battle with the courts on behalf of the churches for religious freedom is far from over.

“If the state can force a church to pay for the very thing they counsel against, in violation of their constitutionally protected religious beliefs, then no American is secure. Because the court’s decision ignores the longstanding freedom of faith communities to act consistently with their religious mission, we are consulting with our clients about next steps,” Alliance Defending Freedom Legal Counsel Jeremiah Galus said.

Galus repudiated the court ruling to dismiss a the case brought by the congregations, characterizing the state mandate requiring churches to cover abortions as a direct assault on people of faith.

“Churches should be free to serve their communities according to their religious beliefs without unjust government edicts that force them to violate those beliefs. California has no right to dictate what pastors or churches believe on moral and cultural issues,” Galus said in a statement. “Yet, with the stroke of a pen – and without consulting the public – the state mandated that churches must pay for the taking of innocent human life.”

Churches and other religious organizations have been battling the state over its onerous abortion mandate for years.

These so-called churches are a trip. They are so concerned about abortion, yet they are all into receiving payment from the federal government for assisting in the settlement of illegal aliens in flyover country towns and cities, infecting the schools and everyone else with diseases we long ago eradicated. Our neighbors are churchgoers and they are the most selfish SOB’s you would ever want to meet.

If they receive public funding, its constitutional for the government to impose conditions on it.

They don’t like the abortion mandate? They aren’t being forced to take public money.

But if they do, the public sees fit how that money is spent.

Do you want them to be less concerned about abortion?

Do you feel that abortion is less important than immigration?

It is wrong to force anyone to be complicit in the murder of innocent little preborn babies.

The price of freedom, including religious freedom, is eternal vigilance. Let’s keep up the fight!

Why reinvent the wheel?

The preambles of both the US Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Maine, make it clear that they protect the life of the baby in the womb?

The Websters Dictionary of 1828 defined posterity as:

POSTER’ITY, noun [Latin posteritas, from posterus, from post, after.]

1. Descendants; children, children’s children, etc. indefinitely; the race that proceeds from a progenitor. The whole human race are the posterity of Adam.
2. In a general sense, succeeding generations; opposed to ancestors.

Would that not be the baby in the womb?

Preamble of the Constitution of The United States Of America:

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The Constitution of the State of Maine echoes the protection of “our posterity” our future generations, the baby in the womb,

PREAMBLE.

Objects of government. We the people of Maine, in order to establish justice, insure tranquility, provide for our mutual defense, promote our common welfare, and secure to ourselves and our posterity the blessings of liberty, acknowledging with grateful hearts the goodness of the Sovereign Ruler of the Universe in affording us an opportunity, so favorable to the design; and, imploring God’s aid and direction in its accomplishment, do agree to form ourselves into a free and independent State, by the style and title of the State of Maine and do ordain and establish the following Constitution for the government of the same.

Every time any court, any politician, any member of the Senate, like Susan Collins and Angus King, any member of the House of Representatives, like Chellie Pingree, the courts or any member of the Maine Legislature, like Scott Hamann vote to authorize in any way shape or form, abortion they are in direct violation of their oath of office.

But worse folks is the refusal, on the part of Public Education, the School Boards and educators to teach this simple truth to the Students of Maine and the Country as a whole.

Both the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the state of Maine are without a doubt guaranteeing the safety and future of the baby in the womb.

But, alas, I am ineligible, for I am a Bible believing Born Again Washed in the Blood of The Lamb Christian who understand exactly what GOD is commanding in Leviticus 20:1-5 and have read, studied and will obey the Declaration Of Independence, the US Constitution and the Constitution of Maine.
