If by “packed up” you mean taking every possible item of value, I agree. Important papers, investment certificates, cash, coins, jewelry, computers, video and audio equipment, movie and music discs, photos, etc. Otherwise, weather evacuations end up making you part of wealth redistribution.
One way out and everyone along that route and in that direction will be headed N too.
Those that plan 365 and not last minute and stay will be OK.
