PORTLAND -- Violence broke out between opposing groups at an anti-white nationalist rally in Portland that left at least one police officer injured, CBS affiliate KOIN-TV reports. Police made several arrests in the city's downtown area as two groups faced off over different views on white nationalism. The Portland Police Department tweeted that marchers and residents should clear the area for their own safety, adding that officers reported protesters attacking photographers and that projectiles were thrown at officers. They said several arrests were made and at least one officer was injured.

I am wondering if these are really white nationalists. Who is paying for this?
Apparently the rioters attacked camera persons.
Skip the nationalism. It was just an anti white rally, period.
Surprised I am not...
Keeping Portland weird.
The story says they are two groups of ANTI “white nationalists.”
I am kind of wondering if the whole thing is not an antifa production, kind of like professional wrestling. I have never met a real Nazi or an avowed white nationalist. I know they exist, but fortunately they are rare.
Political theatre.
Would not be surprised it Antifa was not organizing the whole thing to energize its base.
“anti-white nationalist rally”
Nationalists, that are anti-white? That must be a new thing. Most bigots of this sort are globalists.

The base Antifa and its ilk wants to energize are all the bitter clingers still nursing a grudge since Bush v. Gore.
If they can’t win at the ballot box the next step is the ammo box.
Thanks for providing the link.
The Portland Police said rioters were using sling shots. Sling shots can be deadly.
Protesters are loading slingshots. One officer injured; fire medics responding.

I should clarify: the story says “opposing groups at an anti-white nationalist rally.” It makes it sound like both groups are “anti-white nationalist,” but ticked off at each other. Apparently that’s not the case.
Yep.
"College student activists in the 1960s and 1970s sought out Alinsky for advice about tactics and strategy. On one such occasion in the spring of 1972 at Tulane University's annual week-long series of events featuring leading public figures, students asked Alinsky to help plan a protest of a scheduled speech by George Bush, then U.S. representative to the United Nations, a speech likely to be a defense of the Nixon Administration's Vietnam War policies.Source:Means and Ends: Alinsky, Beck, Satan and Me, Part VI"The students told Alinsky that they were thinking about picketing or disrupting Bush's address. That's the wrong approach, he rejoined -- not very creative and besides, causing a disruption might get them thrown out of school.
"He told them, instead, to go hear the speech dressed up as members of the Ku Klux Klan, and whenever Bush said something in defense of the Vietnam War, they should cheer and wave placards, reading 'The K.K.K. supports Bush.' And that is what the students did with very successful, attention-getting results."

Notice how Antifa is not mentioned.
I have not seen a video yet, but the modus operendi of the left is to wear black and to wear black masks. I would be willing to wager that “protesters” were wearing traditional garb.
Portland is almost 80% white. The rest are Asian. Talk about White Nationalist! It has less than 7% black residents. IN THE CITY!
I found myself somewhat dumbfounded today when I learned from my sister, who resides in the Ozark area of Arkansas, that White Supremacists do exist and are reasonably common there.
I wouldn't have thought that there were enough of them to fill Caitlin Jenner's nut cup.
