President Trump tuned in to Steve Bannon’s interview on “60 Minutes” and thought his former top strategist gave a “forceful defense of him,” it was revealed in a report.
“He thought that it was an articulate and forceful defense of him, as well as a very strong and very intelligent positioning of some of the core issues of the administration,” the Washington Post reported, citing a person close to the president. see also
In Sunday’s interview on the CBS news show, Bannon, who left the White House last month, said he warned Trump that he shouldn’t fire FBI Director James Comey, said the Republican Party was heading toward “civil war” after the president ended the Obama-era program that protected young undocumented immigrants from deportation and called out GOP leadership for not being able to repeal ObamaCare.

I do too from what I’ve watched, but I can only take that stupid CBS interviewer in small doses.

Charlie is using Steve Bannon for ratings.
Steve is using Charlie Rose for broadbased exposure of his and the president’s beliefs.
Chief of Staff John Kelly attempts to insulate and contain the president have been worked around again.

So that’s Charlie Rose? I’ve heard the name but don’t watch anything CBS if I can help it. Yet I thought this guy was held in some kind of esteem, but he’s the lowest form of hack based on his loaded questions and bias. Might as well have brought Dan Rather back from the cable access channel to do this interview.
But despite that, Bannon takes advantage of the media time to explain how things really are.
Charlie Rose has had a night time talk show in some form since about 1991. In the last three or four years, he has also been a co-host on CBS This Morning Show with Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell. To me, Charlie seems very much out of place on that show. There is nothing ‘sunny’ about his demeanor.
Charlie is of course professional, but also grim and craggy in appearance. He looks like someone you’d encounter in the dead of night in regards to a very serious, mostly unpleasant matter at hand. An exasperated Vincent Price, if you will.
Too bad trump didn’t listen to him. Javanka can continue the whiteboard. /s

I loved this interview. Charlie Rose was elitist, arrogant, & constantly interrupted Bannon. Bannon handled it very well. Bannon needs to get together with billionaires & make movies or start a tv network.

boy they sure did mess with the lighting. I really like Bannon. Boom Boom Bannon! LOL
