Yes, and when you throw out the creator god, then you really have no higher authority than yourself, because all other authorities are limited and arbitrary. Posner probably “grew’ as a result of his ego being swelled with pride and as he and his wife were surrounded by Libs, whom they wanted to respect and admire them. Peer pressure and the desire to be liked is often just as strong in adults as in teens. Just ask conservative professors about the peer pressure that they face. If a person is not a rock-solid conservative, then he will eventually drift with the surrounding liberal culture.

I'm guessing 'the flip' - when democrats start joining with us en mass - is coming within the next two years. The press lemmings they are will flip around the same time. Then we'll be heroes who saw the truth early - took the red pill before it was fashionable. You've been here too long to get discouraged now... have faith.
We need to identify the perverse incentives that are making this happen over and over and over again - and correct them...
I really appreciate those types of words of encouragement. I am an optimistic person, so I am usually looking on the positive side, but there sure are some things that make me feel the entire world is going insane.
