that’s insane. Cotton has been grown and used in clothing since 5000 BC in the Indus valley civilization in India. You can’t boil everything down to a couple of centuries.

Maybe someone will correct me on this....but these cotton display items from Hobby Lobby...are they even bought from US farmers? Is it possible these are imported in from Egypt?

I saw a cotton decoration like that just the other day in a little home decor shop in my little town — a shop owned by a black woman.

Never. I wear all cotton, linen, and wool if I can get it. Yeah, I still iron my clothes. HATE polyester bein hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Don’t trust most other garbage. I do love silk in the winter cause its warm. You gotta figure it keeps the bugs warm.
