Tea Party Slams Mitch McConnell Group for Deceptively Editing Video from Event to Attack Roy Moore
Breitbart ^ | 09/19/2017 | Matthew Boyle

Becky Gerritson, the president of the Wetumpka Tea Party in Wetumpka, Alabama, just outside Montgomery here, has a message for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s PAC Senate Leadership Fund: Stop deceptively editing videos to attack conservative Judge Roy Moore.

Last week, Senate Leadership Fund was caught splicing together videos from two separate events in an out of context manner—in other words deceptively editing videos—to make it appear as though Judge Moore does not support President Donald Trump’s planned border wall. Not just Breitbart News, but PolitiFact too, has called out the McConnell-affiliated organization for the attack ads.

Of course, such attacks not only are untrue but they hurt President Trump and his agenda because they falsely suggest division between him and the GOP frontrunner for the nomination for the U.S. Senate in Alabama’s special election to succeed Jeff Sessions, now Trump’s attorney general.

Gerritson is speaking out, now, calling on Alabamians to reject McConnell’s underhanded tactics that hurt the Republican Party and likely eventual nominee for the U.S. Senate.

We have to get rid of McConnell. I have donated to Roy and I hope he wins. This is just outrageous.

The more times that Mitch McConnell does these things, the more believable it is that Ted Cruz was telling the truth that McConnell lied to Republicans several times about deals that he denied making.

These campaign dirty tricks that McConnell oversees are proof that he is a dishonest broker and a corrupt Majority Leader.

McConnell is going to get Roy Moore elected ,, he isn’t fooling anyone and he just branded the GOPe candidate as a swamp dweller before he even starts his campaign.

The people of Wisconsin who re-elected Paul (the cuck) Ryan are as much the problem as the fools in Kentucky who re-elected Mitch (the homo) McConnell.

I buy imported cheese and booze.
Meh!

Here is another McConnell support group doing the same thing recently to Mo Brookes (R) as he was campaigning against Strange...

Brooks said:

“[The ad] maliciously and falsely asserted that I support the barbaric Islamic State. The ad scrolls across the screen four floor votes, none of which related to the Islamic State. All four votes sought to restrain Barack Obama, not Donald Trump —Barack Obama — ..”

I hope you are right that McConnell is helping to get Moore elected. Don’t really care if he is ‘conventional ‘ or not, we need people in the Senate Republican ranks to get that bunch adjusted for success.

Also have hopes that we’ll see Lou Barletta from PA take Casey’s seat in the Senate next year. He’d be a strong conservative voice on immigration matters , as he has in the House.

How could a corrupt and depraved scumbag like McConnell possibly countenance such malicious dishonesty?

That’s that prick Mitch. You should have seen the BS he ran against Matt Bevin in the primary. Some of McConnells crap was so over the top it would have caused James Carville to blush.

This is in my AO. Good to know Becky Gerritson is on this. Y’all may remember that Becky Gerritson’s Tea Party Group was targeted by the Obama IRS. Becky Gerritson also ran for Congress, but she didn’t win. I voted for her, though.

Luckily, we have some old fools in Congress that will be tottering off into the netherworld in a few years.

Don’t generally like to address things this way, but it seems as if that’s the only relief we can count on.

I remember a National Review article on McConnell before he got his majority-ship, it was more hagiography then article. It told how he first went to Washington as a congressional page, then became a staffer, etc. and now a senator on the verge of being majority leader. When I got to the end of the article I remember thinking ‘This guy went to DC as a 16 to 18 year old and never left! Did he ever spend any time back in Kentucky?’ The article which was so laudatory left me thinking I don’t want this guy anywhere near power until he goes back to Kentucky! Does he even know how to get there?

That Senate Re-election Fund is good for corruption and is funded by US Senators, who all expect to reap the benefit of the multi-million dollar war chest for themselves when their own re-election rolls around.

The tactics it funds were perfected in Mississippi, under the tutelage of Haley Barbour, his son and the Boys, against McDaniel, who was the Tea Party insurgent leading that race against ancient RINO mule, Thad Cochran.

Of course Cochran won, after the Barbour mafia smeared Chris with an avalanche of radio ads and blanketed the neighborhoods with fliers, and enlisted the black community to actively assist in the smears and fears and to cross over vote and stop the conservative McDaniel.

I remember the same thing. McConnell was profiled as the model Republican Senator.

He needs to resign as senate leadership. He is a liar and is not supporting the party. If he wants to continue in the senate, in needs to be as an independent and not funded or recognized as a conservative.
