I’m visiting my mom in SD right now. Something like 16 dead. It seems like the local politicians are more concerned with making sure that the homeless/drug addicts are not inconvenienced than protecting the health of citizens who choose to crap indoors. Like AIDS, it looks as if Hep A is now a disease with civil rights.

There is plenty of room in the shelters for those bums, but the shelters do not allow drugs and alcohol inside. It is time for some tough love from the cops. A “wooden shampoo” upside the head would do the trick and make the bums move on.

What is ridiculous in California right now is the the Water Quality Control Board has put a prohibition on the steam cleaning or pressure washing of city sidewalks as the water ends up in protected water ways including the ocean. Seems like an emergency right now and this ban should be suspended.
