Holy God,
It has never been Your desire for us to carry our own burdens. You have always given us the blessed assurance that You are able and willing to shoulder our cares for us. Father, we thank You for the privilege of casting our cares upon You, knowing that You who set the sun, moon, and stars in the sky, will surely be able to take care of everything that concerns us.
Thank You, Lord, for Your continued watchcare over President Trump and his family. We cannot imagine the pressure and the burden of his job, but You are well able to bear it for him. Grant him peace of mind, wisdom beyond measure, joy unspeakable and full of glory. Thank You, Lord, that You guide him in this battle against the tyrant of North Korea. You are our vindicator and defender, Almighty God.
Father, we pray that every one of our military men and women will realize the beautiful offer You have made to carry their burdens. Surely there are worries about their own safety, the safety and welfare of their families back home, and many other cares that they have each and every day. We pray that each of these brave men and women will have the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guarding their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Lord, bless Your people Israel with this beautiful peace as well. May they forever be blessed and drawn to You, Lord. Protect their borders and may the good news of the Gospel be accepted and treasured there.
Father God, the days are short and we sense the time is drawing near for our Savior’s return. Lord, may we be ready. May we reach out to the lost and tell them of You. May we set our houses in order and prepare our hearts to meet our Savior. As we wait, may we reach out to those in need of the hope that can only come from You. Blessed are You, Precious Lord. May the Name of Jesus Christ be praised now and forever, Amen.

Father God, we also lift up Puerto Rico, the Houston area, and Florida, as they recover from the hurricanes. Father God, we ask for comfort and relief for the people impacted. We ask for strength and blessings to those working in the relief effort.
Father God, we ask that this be a time that people who do not know You will realize that You are the true and wonderful living God, a God of mercy and love. We ask that this be a time to expand Your church, that more will seek fellowship with You and allow Jesus to be Lord in their lives.
We thank You for the Holy Spirit as it helps us in our walk. We thank You for blessing us beyond anything we deserve. We thank You for the tribulations which draw us closer to You. We thank You for Your Son, our only Salvation. In His name we do pray.
