You all on the map for a Lidl yet? We are a year or two out around here. Some of the Aldis are already expanding to get ready for the competition. A three way fight for the bottom of the market has to be good for the consumers.

Sure but a person who has a stellar record, great finances, and a glowing references are already gainfully employed. Usually they are paid quite handsomely.

Have people really gotten this lazy?

Since we got the meal kit service, we've had to put more effort into our cooking. It's not that they take particularly long to cook (30-45 minutes) but a lot of attention and concentration goes into those minutes. Rather than the same old basic dishes that we would do on remote control, we have to learn to cook a brand new dish, many times with ingredients we have never used before.

In fact, the main reason people abandon the service is because it's too much work. Much easier to pop a frozen box of something in the microwave and turn on high.

Sounds like a plot to make liability lawyers very wealthy.

Walmart announced Friday that it will begin testing a new service that allows employees to enter a customer’s home and stock their fridge, to alleviate the stress of shopping.

I've been to some Wal*marts where the shopping was stressful. Fortunately, the Wallys around here don't have that problem. Shopping there is about stress free as you can get.

There’s always a catch, isn’t there?

When can I get one of those Star Trek replicator thangs?
