There is no Republican party any more, just CoC bootlickers who pretended to be the resistance until Trump forced them to show their true colors.

Republican’s only principle is to hve no principles. Their only strategy is preemptive surrender. Their only plan for victory is to tick off their base as much as possible.
The GOP came into being because the Whigs would not take a stand on the major issues of the day. they did such a good job of replacing the Whigs that they have become the Whigs.
The Republican symbol shouldn’t be an elephant, but a goundhog, because they’re scared of their own shadows.
Now Republican party, we all know how everyone feels about you. But, I have been supporting you. You guys - not so much. A lot of you have elections coming up in about a year. Want me as your enemy?

Haven’t seen Trump taking his case to the public. He seems much too busy worrying about the NFL players taking a knee than health reform care or tax reform.

This most extraordinary talent has been displayed over and over again, when the voting base of the Republicans has been, like Charlie Brown, all set up to kick the football, only to have the Establishment, like Lucy Van Pelt, snatch the football away, denying the moment of glory.
