‘US declared war first’: N. Korea Says It Has Right To Shoot Down Strategic Bombers

The North Korean foreign minister says Pyongyang has every right to take countermeasures against US aggression, including shooting down warplanes, even if they are not in North Korean airspace.

Speaking to reporters in New York on Monday, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho said that US President Donald Trump has effectively declared war on Pyongyang, meaning all options were on the table for his country’s leadership.

“The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country,” Reuters quoted him as saying.

“Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country.”

Earlier, an open letter from North Korea to several international parliaments said that President Trump’s remarks in his UN General Assembly speech last week amounted to an “intolerable insult to the Korean people, a declaration of war against North Korea and grave threats to the global peace,” the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in a report.

Rocketman will severely regret doing so if he dares to fire upon any of our aircraft.

If rocketman thinks he can pull a Turkey-Russia.... he best think again. It won’t end in talks, for him at least.

Considering selling my Korean car because when the SHTF over there, parts maybe hard to come by.

Trump should send a note to Rocket Man and tell him that he has been put up to his commentary by Merkle. Point out that West Berlin is closer than DC.

Shoot down using what?

Air Force is mostly grounded from lack of fuel and spares and their pilots are very inexperienced.

Newest SAM with sufficient range entered service 50 years ago

Kim’s biggest weakness...

He has total control in his own country, and thinks the whole world will cower as his subjects do.

Imagine being a member of his staff. You could never voice an opinion 1 degree off of his. You and everyone back and forward in your family tree, would be a vapor trail in hours.

Kim is going to be shocked, when someone actually stands up to him, and he finds out he isn’t God after all.

There’s a very good chance, that if Kim were taken out by himself, the rest of the leadership of North Korea might simply lay down their arms and ask for normalized relations, and declaring the missile and nuclear programs would be torn down.

North Korea rejected the Armistice of 1953 in March of 2013 and hostilities can start again either by North or South Korea at any time:
