Delanie Walker is a tight end for the NFLs Tennessee Titans and has opened his yap about fans who are upset over players choosing to disrespect our nations flag and anthem by sitting it out at the start of games. He probably shouldve just clammed up.
Walker, who is currently on a two-year contract thats paying him $13,375,000 (thats THIRTEEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) that includes a signing bonus, a roster bonus, a workout bonus plus other incentives, has come across as the ultimate entitled millionaire jock by telling fans he really doesnt care if you show up.
NBC Sports:
Some fans have threatened to boycott the NFL over players protests during the national anthem. Titans tight end Delanie Walker has a message for them: Bye.
And the fans that dont want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel thats something, were disrespecting you, dont come to the game. You dont have to. No ones telling you to come to the game. Its your freedom of choice to do that.
The Titans were among three teams that skipped the national anthem Sunday after President Donald Trumps tweets. The President has predicted a backlash against the NFL in the wake of the protests, which included dozens of NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem in Week 3.
So youre telling us if we dont want to come, dont come, what do you care? Well Delanie theres another old saying you may be getting familiar with real soon be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
Too stupid to know how his bread gets buttered.
Millionaire Privilege.
We don’t need the NFL, it needs us.
These low-IQ thugs have no clue about business, customer relations, brand loyalty, etc.
Fins something else to do with your time other than watch pro football.
That’s the ticket, Delanie!
Tell em they smell bad, too!
In truth, none of them care about the fans.
As long as they get to carry out their tantrums, these folks think empty seats are just fine.
What amazes me is the coaches, team owners, the NFL front office, and ESPN seem to agree so far.
Sure, spit on your customers and then kick them out the door. I hope you never get a job in customer service, moron.
When I think of all states where this bull$hit will not be tolerated Tennessee would top, or nearly top the list. Let’s see just how well the NFL does when only 13% of the population goes to their games. Teams could go all Black and RIF the remaining “Wiggers.”
Just where does he think (if you can call it that) the money comes from?............................
That $13,375,000 he was promised comes from eyes on the TV or on streaming video, from fans buying merchandise, and from bottoms in seats. If 10% of fans leave and never return, that’s 10% of the revenue gone, and a whole lot more than 10% of profit gone. Does this spoiled brat understand basic economics, or will he have to learn the hard way what happens when 10% of total cost has to be cut, and it can only come from variable costs.
I hope this princess has been as reckless with his money as most professional athletes are. Karma makes me smile.
Just another Low IQ ill behaved kneegoer.
Did’ja never hear the old adage, “the customer is always right”??? I didn’t think so.
I hope he has a crooked black manager who’s stealing from him....
:^)
Chimpin out.
His contract pays the same whether the stands are full or not. For now.
They have no problem spending the evil white mans money do they?
‘When asked about the NFLs ratings decline and whether he feels his actions have been a cause of it, Kaepernick sounded incredulous but admitted that he doesnt understand how ratings work in the first place.
I dont know much about ratings and how they are affected and all of those things, said Kaepernick, according to the Sacramento Bee. But I dont understand why ratings would go down, fighting for justice for people, to try to stop oppression, especially in a league that is predominantly black.’
