House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) said it's "overzealous" to call for a purge on GOP donors who haven't supported the administration's agenda.

He was responding to a recent remark from Vice President Pence's chief of staff Nick Ayers.

“Maybe he got a little overzealous," Scalise said on NBC News' "Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" in an interview set to air on Sunday.

Scalise's comments come after Ayers said wealthy Republican donors should "purge" members of Congress who have not been supportive of President Trump's agenda.

My mistake, it was Scalise not Pence who made the “overzealous” remark. That said, I still don’t believe that Pence is cut from the same cloth as Trump. Then again, I’ve never seen the likes of Trump, he even eclipses Ronald Reagan by a wide margin.

For that matter what is the article saying?

it’s “overzealous” to call for a purge on GOP donors who haven’t supported the administration’s agenda.

Scalise’s comments come after Ayers said wealthy Republican wealthy Republican donors should “purge” members of Congress who have not been supportive of President Trump’s agenda.

So who is to be purged? The donors or the Congresscritters?

Remember back during the election cycle, he asked Candidate Trump if it would be okay if he (Pence) could come out and endorse Paul Ryan in his re-election bid?

Pence is Swamp.

Not only “should” be purged, but MUST be purged if we have any hope of restoring our nation to its Godly foundation.

Ok. But if you purge a donor who doesn’t support you, all that is accomplished is shortening the donor list. If Koch, for instance, doesn’t like the way you’re going, he’ll ‘purge’ himself. No need to make unnecessary enemies when circumstances could change.

I hit a low a couple days ago. But reading about all the changes the Trump team is making on their own authority, Congress not needed, cheered me back up. There’s also an article too esoteric to post about changes being made that will have positive effects on the financial markets. Plus, the market is drilling a hole in sky and it’s just getting started. Hang onto your IRA!

It seems people should support and give money to politicians who share their views and support their interests. Let the chips fall where they may.
