It’s obvious what the problem was. I’m glad that big ole machine gun is no longer in his hands. I enjoy shooting at the range, not taking guns out for a drive. As for doing Rambo poses in front of the mirror, I have never taken a selfie in front of the mirror, with or without guns. Even before the sad boating accident, I never took a gun picture either. This guy is an odd duck, and we’re better off with him holding a baseball bat.

My guess is it’s a “machine” because it has metal parts that move, and that’s why he calls it a “machine gun”. Also, you’re right. He probably hasn’t fired it in a long time, if ever.

I’ve seen those yard signs, but the winner that made stop and stare in disbelief was a bumper sticker in a retirement home parking lot that said, “I am unarmed. Please don’t hurt me.”
