Google Sponsors Event Honoring President of Nation’s Largest Abortion Provider

Internet giant Google is sponsoring an event honoring Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood – the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Google is a Platinum ($25,000) sponsor of the Center for Community Change’s “Community Champions Awards” event, which will be held Thursday, October 12, at the Howard Center in Washington, D.C., a Google spokesperson confirmed to CNSNews.com on Monday.

The annual event honors “Heroes on the Front Lines of Resistance,” the Center’s website says:

“Too frequently, we focus only on the final outcome of a campaign instead of taking a moment to honor the often-unsung heroes behind the scenes. The Community Change Champion Awards were created to do just that: to recognize the people and organizations whose work is making progress toward social justice a reality. We honor work that reshapes the political landscape and challenges us to press forward toward a better world.”

This year, the awards event will honor Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood, as a "Champion in Community Activism." According to its 2015-2016 annual report, Planned Parenthood performed 328,348 abortions in its latest fiscal year.

A number of unions are also sponsoring the event, including:

Why of course.

How the mighty have fallen. From “don’t be evil” to this.

Do any of the major alternative search spiders, other than Bing, really not end up going through Google?

And frankly... the problem with evil in the IT world is that like the Lay’s potato chips, it can’t stop. Google has already worked political correctness into its search engines, and the worse this gets, the poorer a search engine it will be. A straight up engine like Bing will eat Google’s lunch if that keeps up, “Page Rank” or no “Page Rank.”

Hey, G-d? They’re all going to be in this one place at this one time.

Would it be too much to ask for a random lightening bolt? ;)

I have it on good Authority that people who shed innocent blood will burn in hell. The Law of G-d is woven into the very fabric of the Universe. They will not escape. It would have been better for them to have not been born.

Not surprised about Google, but how can government employees’ unions be involved? Seems like they’re crossing a legal line here.

One reason among many I only use Google as a last resort. How’s that for “virtue signaling?”
