ABC News: Mandalay Bay didn't call police when security guard was shot by Stephen Paddock

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - Mandalay Bay staff did not call Las Vegas police until after Stephen Paddock had already begun firing on the concertgoers, according to "World News Tonight" on ABC.

Their information comes from an anonymous source who has reviewed records from the hotel-casino.

According to the report, Mandalay Bay staff did not call police when security guard Jesus Campos reported internally that someone was shooting on the 32nd floor. Nor did they call police when building engineer Stephen Schuck also reported internally that someone was firing at him on the 32nd floor.

About six minutes after shots were fired inside the hotel, Paddock began firing outside at the crowd, according to Sheriff Joe Lombardo.

MGM Resorts spokesperson Debra DeShong wrote in a statement on Tuesday that the company does not believe this timeline is accurate:

This remains an ongoing investigation with a lot of moving parts. As evidenced by law enforcement briefings over the past week, many facts are still unverified and continue to change as events are under review. We cannot be certain about the most recent timeline that has been communicated publically, and we believe what is currently being expressed may not be accurate.

We understand the public’s desire for information and the importance of getting our community and the public at large the information they deserve, and we are doing everything we can to support law enforcement’s efforts to do so. Therefore, it is not appropriate for us to comment further at this time on what remains an open matter for law enforcement.

Las Vegas police say they'll have an updated and more complete timeline on Friday.

Being a high roller means a little shooting through the door can be tolerated as long as he pays for to replace the damaged furnishings?

MGM believed if it could deny ANY employee had ANY knowledge of an armed guest prior to the CROWD part of the massacre, then they’d be on firmer legal footing.

Ergo:

“Crowd shooting AND THEN guard got shot”

And they all koo’ed about what a biiiig hero he was/is.

And THAT is why his house is now protected by ARMED guards from a company called, “OnSite”.

They wanna keep all reporters away and have him only talk to MGM’s lwuaaaayahaz (lawyers).

If correct, there will be many lawsuits against the hotel.

If this is true there is blood all over the hands of Mandalay management. Does this go beyond civil to criminal?

I thought the employee called 911 direct and reported the shooting, which was 6 minutes BEFORE the slaughter began. The Las Vega’s police have answering to do. If true, their original time line was about cya.

So Campos the security guard and the maintenance man who he saved, both unarmed, had 200 rounds fired at them by Paddock and chose to remain on the scene. This while the staff at the Mandalay Bay did not call Las Vegas police until after Paddock had begun firing on the concertgoers. This reeks and just wait for the lawsuits. Discovery will show exactly what a fustercluck this mess was. At the least he Mandalay Bay will not survive.

They didn’t have much time, but probably the casino instinct is to keep things as quiet as possible, the better not to scare off their customers:

“We’ll solve this IN HOUSE —we’ll call it a simple suicide or an accidental discharge...”

But then it turned out to be a muuuuch bigger animal.

The silver lining: MGM loooves SPLC, ADL, LULAC, NAACP, etc.

So DOOM on them, I say.

Sue away.

It took me a while to figure it out...but that sound I’m hearing is the sound of plaintiffs liability attorneys across the nation salivating.

Anyone know anything about that report/rumor that Soros had bought a bunch of PUTS against MGM’s stock...?

Sorta like how the 9/11 hijackers did against the insurance companies.

BS..?

That MGM loves all those left wing organizations is not something to be ignored.

Check out what GoogleMaps did to the address of (shotgun killed) John Bielman, formerly of UltraCell (the outfit that made the phone parts to that SPOOK PHONE charger that they found in the room):

Amazing, huh..?

Now you see it, NOW YOU DON’T..!

You’d think the timeline of the Campos shooting could have only come from the hotel because he was their employee. So if now the hotel is saying they’re not sure of the public timeline, isn’t that tantamount to admitting they initially lied to the police?
